We all have a favorite something. For my family, it's basketball. It's one of the only things all of us love to watch together. But since there are six of us, going to actual games just aren't in our budget. Unless the tickets are free :) My hubby scored us some free tickets to the division championship game for the Phoenix Mercury. It was so much fun and the kids are totally hooked on live basketball. Here's the LO I came up with of our fun night together.

My challenge for you is to scrapbook your favorite thing. It can be something you love to enjoy alone or an activity that tops your "favorite things to do with my family" list. And your title for the fabulous LO you come up with must be "FAVORITE". Just that one word. I can't wait to see what you come up with. Be sure to share it with us in the S.O. gallery!

February Photo Challenge

Can you believe it's already mid-February!! Wow, time flies!
I don't know about you, but I LOVE taking pictures!! Whether it's snapshots or a photoshoot, I LOVE doing it. There is so much to photography, and I learn more and more everyday.
This month, I want to challenge you to take editing your photos to the next step. Sometimes, it's the editing in a photo that will make them "pop", and seperate your photos from others, making them creative and interesting.
Here are just a few of my examples, just some snapshots I took to "play" with.

Sometimes, it may not be a drastic change, just a small subtle change that will make the difference. I used Photoshop to edit my photos, and have downloaded lots of Photoshop Actions to play with. Some of the places I've downloaded actions from are Pioneer Woman, and Maggie Holmes. Some places are free, and some you have to pay for.
If you don't have Photoshop, there are other ways to edit photos, such as Picasa, which is a free site.
So, take the challenge, and take your editing to the next level! Can't wait to see what you do!! (Post a link in the SO Photography section on the message board!)
Have a great day!
