Abbie's Reveal

Good Morning everyone!!

What a lovely kit this was!! I really loved the beautiful paper in this kit; I had a hard time cutting into it!!

I used to be the kind of gal that would always ALWAYS start a page with a good neutral piece of cardstock for the background on my page and go from there.

But lately I have been enjoying using a bold print!! It is addicting I tell you!! It gives the page so much detail and "oomph" just by making that mall change! ANYWAY,

Here is my first page! I took these picture of Gavin the other day and i just LOVE Them!
I cut/tore small pieces of paper and stitched to create a patchwork like border on the two sides:

and i had a LOT of fun making the "1" which is also a candle. Here's a closer look at the sequins that come in the August kit. Pretty huh?
Here is a picture of Gavin on the day of his birthday party. I shared with all of you in the forum the shirt I made him for his party. I was COMPLETELY inspired for this page from the shirt. I thought bug party=bees= honeycomb.. the rest is history:)
I busted out the embroidery thread and had fun stitching this bee. I added a fun ribbon trail (ribbon from stash).
And lastly, I am TELLING you that i just kept looking at this kit and wishing a could blow it up and put it all over my walls!! it is SO pretty and SO my style! I just LOVE it!!

I took my favorite pieces of the kit, that i had left over and made this frame to put in my home. I just started glueing and pasting and didn't stop till I liked the result:)

You can see the damask that came in the kit. I chose to put it on the music paper because it has a subtle, yet notable effect! LOVE it!
